Finished my four miniatures for the JKR gallery Business Card Show! Very excited for the event and can’t wait to see the other artists’ work!  Also have some other really fun projects in the works that I’ll be posting about soon, including another cryptid

Every morning I’d wake up to dew covered windows. Utilizing my multipurpose bowl, I’d wash my face and brush my teeth with whatever water I’d rationed out from the night before. My clothes would be swapped under the safety of a beach towel before journeying to the designated water source, usually a beach camping lot. With a bathroom, water spicket, hose, and spacious parking area, it was home for most crisp, wet, Oregon mornings. Very excited to announce a new series of paintings I call “Turmoil”. I’ll be starting with about 8 nautical themed works all roughly the same size, 8”x10”. Focusing on the power and freedom of the ocean, the dangers involved with that freedom, and the unrelenting natural draw mankind has to the sea, I aim to capture the turbulent waves and the souls of those braving them.I will be drawing from my experiences of growing up in a family of professional/commercial fishermen and spending much of my childhood either on a boat, in the water, or hearing stories of dad’s adventures,...

I present to you “Traveler”. A further addition to my creatures collection, he is a 30” x 40” painting representing an arctic-like, tundra environment. Traveler exists as an amalgamation of various myths and legends, culminating in a hybrid creature that stalks the vast landscapes of the north.Seldomly seen as a hazy mass trudging through snow storms and breaking up landscape silhouettes, the beast rarely allows a clear view of his hulking demeanor.
