The live painting event at Zenspot Provo last night went fantastic! Thank you to everyone who stopped by and grabbed a Spudnik donut. I had some amazing conversations, sold some work, and actually got a surprising amount of painting done. I love doing these smaller more intimate events, looking forward to planning quite a few more for this summer. May also have a big themed show in the works for the near future so stay tuned!

Here is the current progress of the piece I worked on for my live painting event! Inspired by a recent study and fascination with animal skeletons, I call him “Bones”. He’s not finished yet and will require quite a bit more work, but I had an absolute blast painting him at Zenspot Provo and talking to everyone who stopped by. I found it very helpful to discuss a painting while working on it, helped refine the ideas and philosophies.

My newest piece is officially finished! I’m excited to get it framed, hung, and available for the next show. I’ll also be making various prints and stickers of this guy so stay tuned.It took me a while to work out the details of this painting. Many hours of small, dry dabs before I finally created something I loved. This has become a very special creature for me and I hope you guys like him!
